Teen Faux Insect Taxidermy

Your teenager can explore a fun and quirky art form at this hands-on crafting session. Participants will design their own faux insect taxidermy pieces by working with oversized plastic bugs, paint, and wooden plaques to create one-of-a-kind wall art. This is a great activity for creative teens who enjoy working with their hands and appreciate unconventional artistic projects. This program is designed specifically for ages 13–18. Registration is required and will open on July 15, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. The session runs for one hour at the Main Library's Selma Burke Room. If your teen is interested in attending, plan to secure a spot as soon as registration becomes available, since these specialized teen programs can fill up quickly.
