Teen Garden Club
Teen volunteer garden club where tweens & teens grow plants and earn service hours.
Join the Teen Plot Twist Garden and get hands-on experience making a real difference. During this one-hour session, your teen will work on various gardening projects designed to keep the garden healthy and thriving. It's a great way for young people to learn about plants, sustainability, and environmental stewardship while earning volunteer service hours.
This program welcomes teens ages 12 to 18 and is part of the library's food literacy initiative, which explores how our food choices affect our health, the environment, and the economy. Space is limited to 8 participants, so registration is essential. You can sign up online or by phone starting September 8. If you have questions about the program, reach out to Ravina Shive at (803) 981-5870 or ravina.shive@yclibrary.org.
