The Best (Teen) Book Club
Teen book club with YA reads and creative crafts at Mooresville Public Library—discuss & make Perler beads, shrinky dinks & more.
Your teen can dive into meaningful literature while unleashing their creativity at this monthly book club designed just for them. Each gathering centers on a different young adult novel, giving teens a chance to discuss the story and characters with peers. The fun doesn't stop there—members also complete a hands-on craft project inspired by that month's selection. In July, they'll chat about *Better Than the Movies* by Lynn Painter while creating miniature surprise boxes. Future months feature *One of Us is Lying* by Karen McManus paired with miniature evidence boards, and a June session exploring *I Must Betray You* by Ruta Sepetys with Perler bead and Shrinky Dink crafts.
This program welcomes teens ages 13–18. Registration is required and opens on July 14 at 9 a.m. Each session runs about 90 minutes. It's a wonderful way for your teen to connect with other readers, discover new books, and make something creative to take home.
