Welcome Summer! Nature Discovery Walk

Curious about the plants and animals you spot outdoors? Join us for a guided nature walk through Prairie Ridge's prairies and woodlands. Along the way, you'll use the iNaturalist app to identify mystery plants and creatures you encounter. Your observations get added to a collaborative science project that helps track local wildlife and plant populations—so you're contributing real data while learning. This two-hour program welcomes kids ages 5 and up, along with adults who want to explore alongside them. It's a great introduction to citizen science and a fun way to kick off summer by getting outside and discovering what's living right here in Raleigh. Registration is required to attend.
