Wild Tails NC, Animal Encounter

Wild Tails NC brings live animal ambassadors to the library this summer for an interactive program perfect for young learners. Your child will meet different animals and discover what's being done to protect them in the wild. The program is designed for children ages 4–12 (PreK through 5th grade), and parents are welcome to participate alongside their kids. Registration is required for this program. Because live animals will be present, each family must submit a liability waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian—you can print it in advance or fill one out when you arrive. Plan to come early; doors open at 2:45 p.m., giving you time to complete paperwork and get settled before the program starts. Two sessions are available, so register for just the one that works best for your family's schedule.
