Young Adult Book Club: Hauntings & Ghosts

This month's Young Adult Book Club focuses on hauntings and ghosts—a perfect theme for October! Teens and tweens are invited to select any young adult book that fits this spooky theme, read it at their own pace, and then join the group to share thoughts and discuss what they discovered. It's a relaxed, welcoming way for readers to connect with peers who love books and explore literature together. The book club meets in person at the Statesville Library's Youth Services Program Room. This is designed for ages 11–17, and there's no pressure to finish a lengthy book or stick to a specific title—you choose what interests you. Registration opens in early September, so mark your calendar if your teen wants to participate.
